Ash Creek Photo
The Oregon Coast, Cascade Mountains, Columbia Gorge, and Canadian Rockies in Pictures
Animals are not my forte, but I capture them when I stumble upon them; hence the odd collection of insects, birds, lizards, and a rabbit.
This is a photo of a Western Fence Lizard. Western Fence Lizards are small - maybe six or seven inches long including the tail, and they are incredibly quick. On the other hand, if you approach them slowly, you can get pretty close before they become uncomfortable. They hang out on the top of rocks, and catch flying insects as they pass by.
